Keanu Reeves admitted that he vomited “a couple of times” while performing stunts for John Wick. The 60-year-old actor, who starred in the original film in 2014, embraced the challenge of the action scenes.
At an anniversary screening in Los Angeles, Keanu shared: “I had so many wonderful teachers and guidance and worked with so many talented actors, actresses, and stunt people. It’s such a dance of collaboration. So there are times when you throw up or puke, but that’s what makes it good!”
Ian McShane praised Keanu for pushing his physical limits. The 82-year-old actor remarked, “He pushes the envelope all the time. When your leading actor says, ‘We’d like to do another one,’ and it’s been raining for the seventh day in a row, you think, ‘Well, Keanu’s doing it. Here we go.’”
Meanwhile, Eva Longoria revealed that she invested $6 million into the film and played a key role in its success. Although she doesn’t appear in John Wick, she explained to Business Insider: “An agent—who wasn’t even my agent—called me and said, ‘You have money; you should put it here.’ I didn’t even know how a movie was made. I was like, ‘What do you mean gap financing?’”
Eva has seen a healthy return on her investment but expressed regret about not being involved with the subsequent John Wick films. “What I’m p***** off about is I wasn’t connected to the rest of them. This was a one-time thing. That was my only mistake, not being attached to all of the films.”
