Ruben Amorim, the new manager of Manchester United, is a big fan of Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The Algerian’s contract expires in the summer of 2026, and he is thought to be considering a transfer away from Molineux.
Rayan Ait-Nouri is wanted by Manchester United.Ruben Amorim sees him as an ideal fit for his style of play, prompting United to prioritize finding a left-back.
He wants to increase his choices given Luke Shaw’s injury history.
Shaw might eventually go into the back three if the former Sporting Lisbon manager has properly implemented his 3-4-3 system at Old Trafford.
Ait-Nouri, an attacking wing-back, fits Amorim’s playing style perfectly.
The 23-year-old has also been linked with a move to Liverpool, but United will want to guarantee Amorim’s ambitions are fulfilled.
Ait-Nouri presently earns £33,000 a week at Wolves, and the Red Devils could entice him with a significant pay increase.
The fan favourite has more over 100 Premier League outings under his belt after signing from French club Angers in 2020.
He has eight goals and six assists.
Wolves are likely to want to hold him until the summer, given the prospect of relegation.
