When Al Pacino welcomed his fourth kid, 16-month-old Roman Alfallah Pacino, last year, he found that parenting feels the same regardless of age (30 or 84).

‘It is always the same. It is always the same. It’s a miniature miracle. “That’s all I can say,” the octogenarian acting legend told People on Thursday.

It’s simply lovely to have children. I loved it. It transformed me for the better. It changed my life forever. And the thought that you’re focusing your attention on other people who happen to be your children… that’s love.

Last week, Al (born Alfredo) informed the New York Times that tiny Roman had “come into the world a little more now.” He’s learning something.

Despite ending their two-year romance, Pacino still considers Noor Alfallah to be a terrific friend and co-parent.

Al notoriously never married, but he has loved and left Diane Keaton, Jill Clayburgh, Penelope Ann Miller, Kathleen Quinlan, Lyndall Hobbs, and Lucila Solá.

Next Tuesday, Penguin Press will release Pacino’s debut memoir, Sonny Boy, and he will also narrate the ebook/audiobook, which could earn him a Grammy Award.

The Harlem-born New Yorker is only one Grammy away from achieving EGOT status, having won two Tony Awards, an Oscar, and two Emmy Awards for his countless performances from 1969 to 2004.

Al was dubbed ‘Sonny’ as a rebellious adolescent at Manhattan’s High School of Performing Arts, which was made famous by Alan Parker’s 1980 film Fame.

Pacino eventually mastered method acting from Lee Strasberg at The Actors Studio (where he now serves as co-president) and began playing in off-Broadway shows.
