Arnold Schwarzenegger wished his longtime buddy Clint Eastwood a happy 93rd birthday.
The Terminator star, 75, tweeted a throwback photo of the two skiing together while gushing over the showbiz titan.
Happy birthday, Clint! You’ve inspired me, mentored me, and are a great friend. At 93, you demonstrate that heroes do not retire; they reload. ‘You are a legend,’ Arnold tweeted.
In 2006, the Dirty Harry star received the first-ever California Hall of Fame award from then-Governor Schwarzenegger, highlighting their long-standing friendship in Hollywood.
He even once called Eastwood his idol, saying in a 2013 interview that he always likes to learn from his long-time friend.

The photo Schwarzenegger posted was previously shared by the actor in 2019, and depicted the superstars all bundled up as they stood in the snow with their ski poles in hand.
He captioned the photo, “Name a more iconic duo.” I will wait.’
In addition to their successful acting careers, the couple has political experience.
Schwarzenegger was Governor of California from 2003 to 2011, and Eastwood previously served as Mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, in the 1980s.
This is not the first time Schwarzenegger has raved about Eastwood.
In 2011, he compared Eastwood’s career to his own.
According to Slash Film, the actor stated that in the future, he will need to adapt his roles to his age.
Clint Eastwood has done it in the same way. Extreme fighting and shooting are no longer possible. I want to be more encouraged as an actor, and I am confident that I can handle this task. I am like a sponge, absorbing all knowledge and always eager to learn new things.’
