Despite the actor’s struggle with dementia, Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming Willis celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this week.

Emma, 45, posted a picture of herself and Bruce, 69, kissing tenderly on Instagram on Thursday, along with the statement that the couple was “stronger than ever.”

Our 15th wedding anniversary is today! And I have a choice today. “I can either celebrate it or I can mope about it,” she wrote.

I refer to this as the “remarkable reframe.” I am certain that there is much to be joyful about. “I think our bond and union are stronger than ever,” she added.

Our two daughters are intelligent, entertaining, and in good health. Our family is based on respect and affection for one another. And to put it plainly, I cherish and love my husband. I’m really happy of what we’ve accomplished and will continue to do. We therefore wish you a happy crystal anniversary!
