TRAINING COMEBACK: Man Utd  receives a HUGE boost as Leny Yoro advances to the next level of recuperation at the gym following a disastrous pre-season injury

Leny Yoro, Manchester United’s latest addition, has made the next step in his recovery from a foot injury.

The 18-year-old broke his metatarsal during a pre-season game against Arsenal in July.

The teenager is back on the grass, training beside a man wearing a shirt with the word “tezos” on it.

Yoro has also been put through his paces in the gym.

He then had surgery and has been on a recovery program since.

Yoro is getting closer to returning, much to the pleasure of under-pressure Erik ten Hag.

He returned to the Carrington training pitch today for the first time since the procedure.

The defender was also put through his paces in the gym last week, overseen by United’s medical staff.

Despite his progress, the Red Devils maintain that he still has “a lot of work to do” before making his competitive debut.

Yoro pleased fans earlier this month by posting a video of his development on social media.

He shared a video of himself running on an anti-gravity treadmill at the gym, entitled “On the way back.”

The teenager joined Manchester United for £52 million from Lille this summer, but he has yet to make his Premier League debut.

When he arrived at Old Trafford, he said: “Signing for a club of Manchester United’s stature and ambition so early in my career is an incredible honour.

“Since my first discussions with the club, they have laid out a clear plan for how I may progress in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and they have expressed genuine care for me and my family.
