Alexis Mac Allister considers his extensive tattoo collection to be deeply meaningful rather than superficial.

 

The Argentine midfielder, who has a profound appreciation for body art, has adorned nearly his entire left arm with tattoos, each carrying personal significance. In a discussion with Liverpoolfc.com, he praised the visual appeal of tattoos, referencing Carlsberg’s Inked series with the remark, “I like how they look on the body.”

 

 

Despite his admiration for their appearance, Mac Allister stresses that the true essence of tattoos lies in their symbolism. His collection encompasses a broad array of themes, from football and religion to family. One notable tattoo depicts a child holding a ball and standing beside a heart, symbolizing his passion for football.

 

His tattoos also prominently feature the names of his parents and two older siblings. However, Mac Allister acknowledges that the collection is not yet complete.

He shared with a smile that he plans to include his sister’s name, emphasizing her importance to him. “I’ll finish it, but I’m still missing my sister,” he explained. “I know she thinks about it! I would also like her presence for that reason.”
