The midfielder for Manchester United, Kobbie Mainoo, has announced his signing with the world’s largest clothing company, Nike
It is the biggest deal of the teenager’s career to date. Having played a key part in England’s run to the European Championship final earlier this summer, as well as scoring in United’s FA Cup final victory over Manchester City, Mainoo has been spending time on other ventures
He showed images of penning his contract with Nike under the words ‘Welcome Kobbie’.
In order to promote this massive deal, Mainoo also posed in the middle of a pitch with the Nike tick emblem and the word “LA” inscribed underneath. Additionally, he was captured on camera wandering throughout the premises.
Mainoo is about to showcase the worldwide titans, even though he doesn’t appear to be wearing Nike clothing in every photo. Conversely, United is presently sponsored by Adidas, a competitor of Nike that makes its uniforms.
Mainoo has already promoted Nike, showing up at a June photo shoot to officially launch the collaboration. At the moment, he declared, “[It’s] a dream come true.” It’s wonderful to sign with them at last. He officially announced the collaboration now.
United themselves will also be hopeful of giving Mainoo a brand new contract. Although he only signed a three-year deal in February – a reward for his breakthrough into the side from December 2023 and the work done anchoring the midfield in such a short space of time – there is a chance for him to cement his ascent in the world game yet again.
