Jurgen Klopp is enjoying his time away from football after heading to Paris to cheer on a close friend who is competing in the Paralympics.
So, what happened?
Klopp has left for France to help his friend Wojtek Czyz. Czyz, a former German citizen, is a badminton player who now represents New Zealand. According to The Sun, he had been close to Klopp for almost 20 years since they first met while still playing football.

Czyz, a Fortuna Koln football player, had his knee amputated in 2001 after a serious injury. He met Klopp as he began his rehabilitation, and they have remained in contact ever since.
THOUGHS OF CZYZCzyz stated, as reported by The Sun: “I’m very glad to see him. We discuss the Paralympics a lot. He finds it fascinating to watch what others can accomplish and how fierce the rivalry is. He’ll have fun being there, and I’m excited to put on a great show for him.”
