The Manchester United winger Antony has been linked to Al-Nassr.
Football Insider reports that Al-Nassr, a Saudi Pro League team, has made Antony a target in their summer winger search.
According to the report, they made an initial proposal, but they were considering Barcelona’s Raphinha.
It is said that Al-Nassri’s attention is now on Antony, who was a teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo for the Reds in the first half of the 2022–2023 season.
While Ronaldo’s second stint at United ended disastrously, Antony has also struggled at Old Trafford, receiving a lot of criticism and being called a “flop.”
According to The Athletic, Antony’s transfer from Ajax cost United an incredible £86 million.
Despite making 82 appearances for United and contributing 16 goals, Antony’s future in the starting lineup for the upcoming season is uncertain.
According to Football Insider, United is willing to let Antony go on loan as long as his £100,000-a-week salary is paid.
The contract of the Brazil international is still in effect for three years.
