Divin Mubama undergoes medical examination, about to become Man City’s second new player
Football Insider reveals young talent Divin Mubama will travel to Man City for a medical.
Divin Mubama was offered a new contract by West Ham but he decided not to sign and became a free agent. At this time, Man City agreed to pay West Ham £1.5 million to pay for Mubama’s training.
Mubama was very close to Man City.
According to Football Insider, Mubama only needs to pass a medical test to become a new player for The Citizens.
Sources say Mubama is considered a top talent for the future, but he is unlikely to break into the first team immediately despite Julian Alvarez being sold to Atletico Madrid.
Since making his West Ham debut in 2023, Mubama has made 18 appearances for the London side, only starting twice.
Man City’s transfer business has been slow so far. If successful, Mubama would be their second signing, after new signing Savinho, who suffered a knee injury in the 2-0 win over Chelsea in the first round of the Premier League.
Man City are also eyeing Celtic player Kyogo Furuhashi. However, this deal has not progressed.
