Following this encounter, Manchester City achieved an excellent record. As a result, Pep Guardiola’s team became the first in Premier League history to win ten consecutive games while scoring two or more goals.. 

Manchester City also displayed their superiority versus Chelsea. They have not lost in ten consecutive matches against this opponent. It is worth noting that Man “blue” is the first team to go ten consecutive games unbeaten against The Blue. 

Erling Haaland also achieved a personal milestone with his 100th appearance for Manchester City. The Norwegian striker has scored 106 goals for Manchester City during the last 100 games. This guy tallied 91 goals and 15 assists.

Haaland is another player who tends to score goals in August. Since the 2022/23 season, Haaland has scored 13 goals in August, outscoring Chelsea (11 goals) and Manchester United (9 goals).
