Due to Liverpool’s lack of activity in the transfer market thus far, experts from around the world have agreed to advise the club on which players to sign this summer.

Although the Reds have been linked to enticing players such as Anthony Gordon, they have yet to make a move.

The Newcastle United winger is willing to join Liverpool, despite the fact that the club wants £100 million for him. It remains to be seen whether the Reds will bite the bullet and pay a high price to bring him to Anfield.

Victor Osimhen is one player that Liverpool isn’t currently associated with all that much. Things have quieted down on this front since we reported a news in May that said the Red were ahead of Man Utd in the competition for the £112 million Serie A star.

Don Hutchison now says that Liverpool has to pay £100 million to bring Osimhen to Anfield in an ESPN interview (via TBR).

Instead, allocate £100 million to Osimhen. Gordon’s £50 million does not come directly from Liverpool’s roster.

“They have adequate cover.” They are strong in many areas, but they lack a striker, as Darwin Nunez’s erratic play towards the end of the season demonstrated.

Hutchison may have made some recommendations, but Liverpool is unlikely to sign Osimhen this summer. They have spent extensively in Darwin Nunez’s development over the last few seasons, spending a lot of money to get him to Merseyside.

Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota are among the players on Arne Slot’s roster that can play at number nine. Overall, adding Osimhen would be a waste of money unless a large sale occurs in the future weeks.
