Erling Haaland joins the ‘raw dogging’ phenomenon by looking at a plane map screen for seven hours on his return voyage to the UK

Fans joked that Erling Haaland would never overcome “robot allegations” after “raw dogging” a seven-hour flight.

The Norwegian striker was on his way back to England with Manchester City after the club’s preseason tour in the United States.

In his final game, he scored three goals in a 4-2 victory over Chelsea at Ohio Stadium.

He was still up for some on the way home, as seen by a comedic video he shared on Instagram.

The camera shows him sitting next to custodian Stefan Ortega, looking at the flight map.

Haaland does not blink or move in the video while he “raw dogs” the aircraft.

The term “raw dogging” on a flight refers to an unusual online phenomenon in which travellers only follow the flight map and do not sleep or do anything else while in the air.

He captioned the video, “Just raw dogged a seven-hour flight.”

“No phone, no sleep, no water, no food, only map. #Easy.”

The clip has been shared by fans across social media with many finding it hilarious.

One fan posted: “He is never beating the robot allegations.”

A second commented: “Mentality monster.”

A third wrote: “Lmaooo this guy is hilarious.”

A fourth joked: “Guy’s glitching. Defo needs a system upgrade.”

A fifth said: “Now this is a real athlete.”

Another added: “This guy is mental.”

Manchester City’s competitive season began on August 10 with a Community Shield match against cross-city rivals Manchester United.

They will look to wreak revenge on the Red Devils for their FA Cup final defeat last season.

The club’s Premier League title defence begins on August 18 against Chelsea.
