Zirkzee recently started training again at MU. He hasn’t yet participated in any games for the Old Trafford squad. But the “Red Devils” newcomer just revealed some unexpecteԀ things to The Mirror.
Zirkzee said specifically, “I want to play football in the most basic way possible. Football plays such as feinting, backheeling, and nutmegging an opponent are legendary. That kind of play seems to be a great fit for me.
Of course, you have to decide when to take those actions. I believe my technique to be excellent. When I was younger, I practiced challenging techniques a lot. I’ll stop at nothing to regain the ball if I lose it. I’m also capable of graceful movement.
I can occasionally drop back to play midfield. My motivation is to foster connections and develop the team’s playing style. I’m a number 9.5, not a number 9 or 10. I may come out as a little different from other people, but that uniqueness is beneficial.
For MU supporters, Zirkzee’s remarks bring to mind Ronaldo. When he was at the top, the Portuguese sensation was a very good winger at Old Trafford. CR7 had amazing technique and lightning-fast speed at the time.
Ronaldo demonstrated challenging technical plays from the beginning of his time at MU. Zirkzee now desires to relive those special times.
Despite being only 1.93 meters tall, Zirkzee has excellent technique and dribbling skills. This can engender suspense and make it harder for rivals to forecast.
Given that Hojlund has been out for six weeks due to ιnjury, Zirkzee is probably going to start the season. Let’s see if Zirkzee can gain Coach Ten Hag’s confidence.
