The 37-year-old legend of Manchester United, Nani, completes a career circle as he emotionally signs a free transfer to join his tenth club

Nani, a Manchester United hero, has returned to his hometown club Estrela da Amadora, bringing his career full circle.

With Manchester United, he captured four Premier League championships.

He’s already got a one-year deal with Estrela, who were 14th in the previous Primeira Liga campaign.

In his long career, they will be the TENTH different club.

Nani made his nаme with Sporting and then United after being born in Amadora, a town northwest of Lisbon.

During his eight years at Old Trafford, he won a Club World Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League, and four Premier League crowns.

“Luis Nani has returned to his roots,” stated Estrela. The Portuguese international will return to Portugal to play for Estrela da Amadora on a one-year contract.

“The footballer will return to the Portuguese league, this time in the city of Amadora, which holds great meaning for him.

He started his football career here and raised his family here.

“A city that witnessed a boy grow into a man and an outstanding athlete who won almost everything in the world of football.

Nani will play for his new team while also owning fourth-division club SU Sintrense.

Last month, he and a group of investors acquired a majority ownership in the 112-year-old club near Amadora.

In 2015, the winger left United for Fenerbahce and has since returned to his first club, Sporting Lisbon, twice.

Globe-trotting Nani has also played for teams in Spain, Italy, the United States, and Australia.
