According to a report, Chido Obi-Martin, a young player, was taken by Manchester United from Arsenal.
One of the most exciting players for the Gunners was the 16-year-old forward.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Obi-Martin, who previously had transfer conversations with United regarding a possible move, has now stated that Old Trafford is where his future is.
The transfer analyst tweeted: “We’re going to Man United with Chido Obi Martin! Brilliant striker departs Arsenal and has accepted a proposition from Manchester United.
“Chido, who rejected better offers from Germany to join Manchester United, needs to find his own path.
“Project convinced 2007-born top talent to accept.”
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal had given the young player a spot in their U18 team, with the option to play up for the U21s when feasible and possibly even train with the first team.
However, the prolific goal scorer desired to join the U21 team right away.
In just 17 league games for Arsenal’s U18s last season, Obi-Martin scored 29 goals.
He gained notoriety in February when he scored ten goals for the Gunners U16 team in a single match against Liverpool.
That performance was not just a flash in the pan as he also scored four against both Crystal Palace and Fulham.
And five against West Ham and seven in one game vs Norwich.
The striker played for Danish team KB before coming to the Gunners in 2022.
Obi-Martin competed for Denmark in the qualifying campaign for the 2024 Uefa European Under-17 Championships.
He scored twice in three games during the group rounds.
