Arsenal Introduces New Retro Apparel Under Ray Parlour’s Guidance. Ray Parlour, the former star, is the designer of Arsenal’s latest throwback apparel line. The Gunners are renowned for releasing exclusive apparel products for their fans to buy, like their January release of an Adidas collection inspired by the London Underground.
In order to promote the throwback line, a pop-up store was established and the classic 2001–02 home shirt was reimagined. The attire is in the renowned gold away uniform of Arsenal from the 2001–02 season.
Not surprisingly, Parlour, who helped Arsenal win the FA Cup that year with a goal in the final, served as the creative director for the new line. The club has added vintage-style clothing to its online store, all of which sport the former logo that was retired in 2002.
Recently, Parlour celebrated the launch of “Ray’s Fashion Parlour” in Soho, which features a range of apparel products including tracksuits, varsity jackets, tees, and hoodies in addition to sweatshirts.
Parlour conveyed his enthusiasm for commemorating a golden period in Arsenal’s past and releasing the new products via Arsenal Direct’s interactive online store.
Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, and Konstantinos Mavropanos, the defender, displayed the new collection. Eddie Nketiah also posed in the new attire, and Parlour, dressed in a black turtleneck, seemed to be channelling his inner Steve Jobs.
