Rasmus Hojlund had given United the lead early on, and Mikel Arteta’s me𝚗 had done admirably to come back from a 1-0 disadvantage.

But the North Londoners held their nerve and within twenty minutes they had equalised.

Ben White, age six

The always dependable right-back for Arsenal had a really quiet game. That’s not a bad thing; it simply indicates that he completed his work efficiently and without error.

Heaven Ayden – 5

Another strong performance from the teenager overall. He might face criticism in the future if he allows Hojlund to score by running by him, but for now, he is just not large enough or strong enough.

Martin Odegaard – 6

Given that Norway did not qualify for the Euros, he is obviously in better shape than most. The captain of Arsenal once again demonstrated his ability to lead both on and off the pitch.

Six Leandro Trossard

The adaptable Belgian striker has surmised that Arteta is partial to players who put in a lot of effort for the club and then have a little bit of superstar quality to top it off. On the evening, he displayed a little bit of both, albeit nothing really noteworthy.

Six Reiss Nelson

No faulting his effort playing in the Bukayo Saka on the right hand side of the Arsenal аttаck, but he will have to do more to prove he can fill on for the England international on a regular basis when the season starts.
