The academy graduate is reportedly of interest to Fulham and Crystal Palace this summer, and if the Gunners opt to sell, it will be recorded as pure profit on the books. This is the most recent transfer news regarding Arsenal.

The academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe is drawing attention during the summer transfer window, but his future at the Emirates Stadium is becoming less and less definite.
The midfield player has reportedly been identified as one of Fulham’s top targets, and Arsenal is reportedly prepared to reject a second proposal from the Cottagers. Not only is Fulham interested in the player, but this summer, Crystal Palace has also been strongly linked to the youngster.
Given his difficulties obtaining consistent playing time during the season, Smith Rowe is a player Arsenal may try to acquire during the current transfer window. Only 13 Premier League appearances were made by the 23-year-old last season, and the majority of those came off the bench.
According to rumors, he might try to find a new home outside of Emirates Stadium in order to get more playing time. If Arsenal wants to let go of the player this summer, they reportedly want to be paid about £25 million.
If Smith Rowe were to leave during the next two weeks, Arsenal would still need to find a replacement for him even though he isn’t a regular starter. Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino has been linked to the Gunners, but his estimated £20 million price tag will consume the majority of the proceeds from Smith Rowe.
To add competition in the area for the upcoming season, Arsenal may also consider moving one of the players from the development squad up to the main team. Ethan Nwaneri is one contender.
During the previous season, the 17-year-old was a fixture in Arenal’s youth team and scored 10 goals in 13 Premier League 2 games. Due to his outstanding play, he was selected for the starting lineup in both of the Premier League games against West Ham; the young player made his debut in the 6-0 victory on the road in February.
In order to make an impression before the new season begins, he will be attempting to get into Mikel Arteta’s team for the preseason tour of the United States that begins next week. He scored during Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Boreham Wood for the U21s.
Nawaneri might be called up to the first team squad to take Smith Rowe’s place if he does well over the course of the next few weeks. This would imply that Arsenal is free to bolster other parts of the team with any proceeds from a sale.
