The 46-year-old Arsenal great scores an incredible trick-shot penalty, earning praise from supporters for his ‘timeless class’ and jokes that he’s ‘still better than all Man United forwards’

Following the release of a video showing Thierry Henry participating in a shooting drill, supporters have praised the player on social media.

The legendary player of Arsenal was spotted working out with the French Olympic squad prior to the Games in Paris later this month.

Head coach of the French Olympic squad Henry was observed taking a penalty and then curling the ball into the upper right corner.

He faked to kιck the ball with his right leg, but instead of taking a standard penalty, he toe-punted it with his standing left leg.

The staff members in attendance cheered when the ball fizzed into the bottom right-hand corner of the goal. 

Social media users were eager to laud Henry, with one even going so far as to sаy the 46-year-old is superior to Kylian Mbappe at the moment.

After what he accomplished at Arsenal, Henry will go down as one of the greatest attackers the Premier League has ever seen.

The Frenchman became a legend at the club after spending eight years as a Gunner after moving to north London from Juventus in 1999.

Henry has scored 228 goals in all competitions, 175 of which have come in the Premier League, making him the best goal scorer in Arsenal history.‎

After winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League during his three years with Barcelona, the attacker joined the New York Red Bulls in 2010.

In January 2012, he went back on loan to Arsenal, where he scored the game-winning goals against Sunderland in the league and Leeds in the FA Cup.

Henry stated, “I’ve been fortunate enough to have an amazing playing career with many incredible memories, and I can’t wait for the next chapter to begin with Sky Sports,” when he announced his retirement from football.
