”Being here now inspires me to strive even harder each day to fulfill my dream of being the world’s greatest goalie.

“I’ve grown to really like Arsenal, a club with a really deep past. It’s strong in my heart, and everyone here—from the coaches to the groundskeepers, chefs, security officers, and cleaners—has always made me feel so welcome and made it easier for me to just concentrate on the football.

“My father in particular has always been there for me, helping me through good times and bad. Without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am now. He has been coaching me and helping me prepare, particularly during our lockdown. I adore him, am incredibly appreciative of what he has done, and am thrilled that he will accompany me on this trip in the future.

It’s fantastic to attain that milestone alongside the academy players who recently signed their first professional contracts with the team, according to Alexei.

It’s an amazing accomplishment for all of us, he remarked. “Many of us have worked at Arsenal for a couple of years now. We all want to play professional football and have long careers, so it’s great that we can accomplish that together. I know we’ll keep pushing each other in the under-21 team in the hopes that we’ll all have prosperous, long careers. We also have a close bond with the club.

“Any player’s dream is to make the first team, but at a big club like Arsenal, that dream is much more intense. There’s no better place to achieve one of my goals, which is to play at the greatest level and get into the Premier League. To be the most reliable person both on and off the field, I need to keep improving my routines.

“Next season, I’m excited to compete and win games. I can lead assaults, control the box, and produce big saves to support our team’s performances. I want to continue taking advantage of everything around me.

Alexei is a supporter of sustainability in football and gave a speech at the Eden Project earlier this year. What he said about it was as follows:

“Sustainability and football are closely related.” The globe is greatly impacted by football in terms of travel, waste, and spectators. People’s lives are greatly affected by it, and they have a strong sense of connection to the beautiful game.

“I believe that the best approach to bring about change in the future is to use football to disseminate positive ideas about how we should live our lives, make changes, and be more sustainable. There will be significant benefits from tight collaboration that will affect every person on the planet.
