His first-ever Premier League clean sheet came against Arsenal, and that is why he got inked.

That final agreement, if accepted by all, might be worth £30 million.

However, the Gunners supporters and his potential teammates might not be fond of the tattoo on the back of his neck.

The Spaniard is sporting a tattoo with the date 13/8/21, which commemorates Brentford’s Premier League debut.

The Bees have a special memory of the game since they defeated Arsenal 2-0 at home on the first day of the 2021–2022 Premier League season.

In celebration of achieving his first top-flight clean sheet, Raya had the date permanently inscribed on his neck.

Although the memorial tattoo was a great idea when he was playing for Thomas Frank, it might be a little awkward now that he’s moving to north London.

Since joining the Bees in 2019, the 27-year-old has made 161 appearances in competitive play, 62 of which have been in the Premier League.

Raya is being recruited to Arsenal to give Aaron Ramsdale some competition.
