Jack Grealish increased his summer personal training routine ahead of his return to Manchester City next week.

Grealish, who was dismissed from City’s first-choice attack last season and then left out of England’s Euro 2024 team this summer, has something to show in 2024-25. He has been a vociferous supporter of England throughout the Euros, having initially been selected in their larger training squad before Gareth Southgate reduced it to 26 men.

The winger will have watched England go to the Euro 2024 final on Wednesday night from Portugal, where he has just vacationed, but has yet to respond on social media.

On Thursday, he proceeded to showcase his summer training regimen by sharing a series of photos and videos from a personal training session in the sun.

Grealish is scheduled to return to Manchester this weekend, with pre-season training commencing on Monday. Following his absence from the Euros, he is one of the more prominent names in Pep Guardiola’s trimmed-down team that will go to the United States next week.

He previously shared photographs of himself training at the City Football Academy during an England game at the start of the Euros. He will now want to demonstrate to Guardiola and Southgate that he has listened to their input in recent months and is putting in the effort to begin the season in the best possible shape.

Guardiola will also welcome back Erling Haaland, Oscar Bobb, Rico Lewis, Ederson, and Stefan Ortega, as well as a handful of young players who have already returned for pre-season. Some, such as Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic, may be available at the start of preseason after failing to advance past the group stages of the Euros.
