Looking for the eighth team of his professional career, a forgotten ex- Arsenal star has revealed he has a ‘thirst for reve𝚗ge’.

None other than Jeff Reine-Adelaide, who attended the academy of the north London side and stayed for two seasons before joining Angers, is the player under question.

Having shown promise there, he quickly moved to Lyon but had his time disturbed by injuries including two ACL tears in 2019 and 2021.

Reine-Adelaide went on two loan spells in an attempt to regain his best form before finally joining Belgian team Molenbeek, a sister club to Lyon. 

But that effort also suffered a sad conclusion when he was briefly hospitalised for a concussion following a May game.

After leaving the Belgian side at the end of the 2023–24 campaign, he is currently looking for a new club as he wants to move past his ιnjury problems.

I have to look for a club whose sporting initiative appeals to me and suits the football I enjoy.But the human element will be really vital. Having fun and hаnging about with a decent bunch comes first. I also get a craving for retribution. 

Though some have written me off, I have never been a particularly injured player apart from the ACLs. Though it is untrue, I have been labelled as a delicate player.

After a good loan term, he signed for Angers. Later, he spent time at Lyon, loaned at Nice and Troyes before permanently joining Molenbeek.
