The Dutch attacking talent is considering joining Liverpool, as coach Arne Slot has said.

Since coach Arne Slot was appointed as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement at Liverpool, there has been much conjecture about who The Kop’s next new signing will be if the new club captain decides to make personnel changes.

 

One of the candidates named is Feyenoor’s attacking player, Igor Paixao. Coach Arne Slot’s former student excels on the left wing of the attack, scoring nine goals in the Dutch National Championship previous season (according to Transfermarkt).

Sharing on Globo Exporte, Igor Paixao spoke out about the rumors of joining Liverpool when he said: “I am still following and listening to the media or social networks.

Many people have asked whether I will join Liverpool or not. Actually, I don’t know, I am still waiting and updating the situation. However, Dutch football is still great and the difference in intensity between these two tournaments (Eredivisie and Premier League – PV) is huge”.
