Exchanging on his personal Twitter page, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester City is about to welcome a new player from Chelsea.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ryan McAidoo, a particularly bright young talent of English football, has decided to leave Chelsea to join Manchester City Academy. The Italian journalist confirmed:

“Ryan McAidoo leaves Chelsea and is set to join Manchester City, here we go!”

 

“The talented attacking midfielder born in 2008 has decided to join Man City, after rejecting offers from other top Premier League clubs.”

“Deal done, a great talent for the Man City Academy.”

McAidoo is about to join Man City.

There has been much speculation surrounding McAidoo’s future in recent times, with Romano previously claiming that Arsenal were interested in signing the midfielder. However, the Gunners and other big clubs were eventually beaten out by Manchester City, and the English talent is expected to soon join the Etihad.

In March, McAidoo was officially called up to the England U17 team, and so far the 16-year-old midfielder has made a total of two appearances.
