Even though he was replaced at halftime, he stayed to greet some supporters, one of whom had a sign that said, “Saka, it’s my birthday. Can I get a picture?”
Saka greeted the little fan, gave him his match-used boots, and then took a selfie with his MVP medal.
One fan tweeted: “Bukayo Saka’s touching gesture of giving his boots to a young fan demonstrates that he’s not just a talented footballer but also an inspiring role model both on and off the pitch.” Supporters praised the winger on Twitter. A real gem!”
“That might just inspire that boy to become a baller,” another person remarked. Fantastic action, Bukayo!”
One person said, “This kid will cherish this moment for the rest of his life!” in response.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Gabriel Martinelli, and new recruit Kai Havertz helped Arsenal defeat MLS All-Stars with ease.
Five minutes into the game, Jesus scored the first goal with a daring strike into Roman Burki’s top-left corner of the net.
