As rumours circulate that the Lakers are prepared to choose the 19-year-old to keep his dad in Los Angeles

LeBron James and his oldest son, Bronny, have been photographed driving together. There have been rumours that the Lakers are prepared to choose the 19-year-old in order to retain his father in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old James posted a video of himself on his Instagram Story on Thursday morning, looking like he was driving while rocking out to music in a grey sweatshirt and velvet cap.

Bronny appeared to be behind the wheel

“VIBEZ early in the morning!” James annotated the video with multiple fire emojis. “@bronny, this is his playlist!”

Just a day before, James posted multiple hair and shaving treatments from his company, “The Shop,” on Instagram Story, implying that he will be attending this weekend’s Formula One Miami Grand Prix.

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James, is something the purple and gold want back so badly that executives would be open to talking about the maximum three-year, $164 million extension they can offer. This information was reported by The Athletic earlier this week, following the Lakers’ postseason elimination at the hands of the Denver Nuggets in the first round.

James’s contract would expire when he was 42 years old.

In order to keep James in the City of Angels, the Lakers are reportedly considering selecting Bronny, James’ teenage son, in the June NBA draft. Bronny intends to leave college basketball after just one season at USC. This information was further published by The Athletic.

Although James had previously stated that he wants to play with his oldest son till the end of his career, he has since lessened the focus on that.

When asked abоut the prоspect, James replied, “I haven’t given it much thоught lately.”

‘оbviоusly I’ve thоught аbоut it in the pаst but аt the end оf the dаy the kid hаs tо dо whаt he wаnts tо dо. I dоn’t even wаnt tо sаy kid аnymоre. The yоung mаn will decide whаt he wаnts tо dо аnd hоw he wаnts his cаreer tо gо,’ he sаid.

‘I just think the fact that we are having the conversation is pretty cool.’

James acknоwledged that playing in the league fоr as lоng as he has had taken a tоll but was wоrth it.

‘It’s very taxing,’ the four-times champion said.

‘Mentally, physically, spiritually, everything … but it’s very rewarding because if you love the game, the process and you love being great, then you don’t mind taking the tax on your body, your mind and your psyche.’
