His father Pierre, who criticised Tedesco for benching Trossard against Romania and implied the Belgium manager is not a “good coach,” may have undermined his assertions to the contrary.

He told Belgian publication De Morgen, “Leandro is criticised, but he was moved from one position to another. It’s difficult to keep a guideline in your game in these conditions.”

“Even though Tedesco lacks Roberto Martinez’s obstinacy, I don’t think he’s a good coach for Belgium.”

In Belgium’s lаst grоup mаtch аgаinst Ukrаine, Trоssаrd will be lооking tо get bаck intо the stаrting lineup. The teаm merely needs tо win tо аdvаnce tо the next rоund оf the cоmpetitiоn.

Following their most recent victory, De Bruyne gave a rallying cry to the stars of Belgium, saying on Saturday: “We knew what needed to be done.”

“We knew we were going home if we didn’t win, which is why we came.” That was the most crucial element. It would be amazing if there was anything I could do to assist us get back on track.

The opportunities we did take paid off. Although some of our shots were saved and some were off target, it’s crucial that we get into those situations.
