On Monday night, Kylian Mbappe waved farewell to Paris Saint-Germain with a grandiose party for 250 guests at a sophisticated Italian restaurant.
The French star’s PSG teammates, club personnel, and friends congregated at Gigi, a Venetian palace-inspired venue just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.
The restaurant’s menu includes a €160 [£137] Cote de Boeuf for two people sharing, €78 [£67] roasted Norway lobster, and €68 [£58] Dover sole dish.
Although French President Emmanuel Macron, who has close ties to Mbappe, was on the guest list, newspaper sources say he did not attend the celebration.
The forward addressed the crowd, referring to them as ‘family who have influenced my life’.
