Manchester City have released their home kit for 2024-25, with a bold design from Puma featuring a unique 0161 telephone graphic.
The Blues will be hoping to answer another Premier League title call next season, with Pep Guardiola overseeing an era of domestic dominance at the Etihad Stadium. City are determined to deliver for their loyal legion of supporters, with the club rightly proud of strong connections to its geographical roots.
Kit manufacturers Puma have delivered another nod to that heritage in their latest home offering, which incorporates a graffiti-inspired 0161 graphic on the collar and cuffs. Said number is the telephone area code that covers a large area of Greater Manchester – including where City are based.
City claim that their heritage is now being woven into jerseys that invite the world to “experience and feel” what locals do – “from East Manchester to Istanbul, Northern Quarter to Norway, Moss Side to the other side of the world”. The 2024-25 kit will be worn by all sides representing the club, including Guardiola’s Premier League giants and Gareth Taylor’s WSL title hopefuls.
A unique initiative has seen Puma and City collaborate with the well-known Fortnite game franchise to offer customized kit reveal experiences into the lobby areas of players in the gamer-built Creator Worlds, in addition to dressing the pitch.
