Bukayo Saka and Son Heung-Min have emerged victorious in the fashion competition as they strike a pose for Burberry!

Following the release of Burberry’s latest ad featuring North London rivals Bukayo Saka and Son Heung-Min, fans were eager to voice their thoughts.  Together with other models and other well-known names, the players from Arsenal and Tottenham were featured in the brand’s most recent summer and spring 2024 collection.

As the Spurs captain chose a dapper houndstooth suit, England international Saka was seen wearing a beige trench coat with a green and checkered shirt underneath. Fans were quick to draw analogies between the two sides, which makes sense considering the intense rivalry between the two North London teams, and it’s safe to sаy that one winger prevailed this time.  Saka ‘simply doesn’t have it,’ according to critics, while Tottenham sensation Son was called a ‘flying’ and his suit jacket fit him ‘perfectly’.

“What is Saka wearing?” was the comment left by one person, along with several laughing emojis.

Some questioned the ‘aura’ of the England winger, whereas Son’s was said to be phenomenal.

Burberry should have “tried someone like [Gabriel] Martinelli or even [Leandro] Trossard,” one sly user even joked.

The pair first stepped out together at a Burberry fashion presentation a few days prior to the North London Derby in September, which is when they appeared in the most recent campaign.

Son became an ambassador for the fashion brand Burberry last year, and he represented the brand at the renowned fashion show as they unveiled their Spring Summer 2024 collection.

Saka, a well-known star, attended the event and was positioned close to his Tottenham adversary in the front row of the runway.

The couple can be seen sitting next to each other and appearing uneasy while cameras encourage them to move.

Saka plays nervously with his collar during the interaction, obviously aware of the impression that some spectators may have of him sitting next to the captain of Arsenal’s opposing team. During this exchange, neither of them looks at the other.
