Amid rumors that the Lakers are prepared to draft the 19-year-old to keep his father in Los Angeles, LeBron James relishes a car trip with son Bronny

Raising rumors that the Lakers are prepared to draft Bronny, the 19-year-old, to keep his father in Los Angeles, LeBron James has been seen having a car trip with his oldest son.

On Thursday morning, Bronny seemed to be driving as the older James, 39, posted a video of himself on Instagram Story listening to some automotive music while wearing a gray hoodie and velvet cap.

‘I am VIBEZ early! James scribbled many fire emojis over the video. ‘@bronny His playlist by the way!’

Bronny is planning to leave college basketball for the NBA Draft after just one season at USC

An all-time classic, Lenny Williams’ 1975 single “Cause I Love You,” had the two nodding their heads in approval.

James made hints about going to the Formula One Miami Grand Prix this weekend just a few hours earlier when he posted many ‘The Shop’ hair and shave treatments on his Instagram Story.

The Lakers want James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, back so badly that executives would be willing to talk about the maximum three-year, $164 million extension they can offer, according to a report from The Athletic earlier this week, following their first-round postseason elimination by the Denver Nuggets.

If it would help keep James’ adolescent son Bronny in the City of Angels, the Lakers are also open to the idea of selecting him in the June NBA draft. Bronny intends to leave college basketball after just one season at USC, per The Athletic.

Although James had previously stated that he wаnted to play with his oldest son till the end of his career, he has since given that less of a focus.

James replied, ‘I haven’t given it much thought lately,’ when questioned about the likelihood.

After just one season at USC, Bronny plans to depart collegiate basketball and enter the NBA Draft.

Though I’ve obviously given it some thought in the past, the child ultimately has to follow his own path. I’m not even sure I want to call him a kid anymore. ‘The young man will choose his own path and career,’ he declared.

‘Just the fact that we are having this talk seems really wonderful to me.’

James acknowledged that although it had cost him, it was worthwhile to play in the league for as long as he has.

Four times champion commented, “It’s very taxing.”

‘Mentally, physically, spiritually, everything… but it’s really gratifying because you don’t mind taking the tax on your body, mind and psyche if you love the game, the process and you enjoy being great.’
