LeBron James has faced some of the greatest players and teams in NBA history over his 21-year career, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron has witnessed teams like the Big 3 Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, and the San Antonio Spurs with Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard, particularly during the playoffs. But the team that presently wears his number, possibly more than any other, is the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets.
LeBron and the Lakers have lost 11 straight games to the defending champion Nuggets, who are about to eliminate them from the postseason for the second year in a row. Although James is unsure of their exact ranking among the teams he has seen throughout his career, he is certain that they are in the upper echelon.
Following the Lakers’ Game 3 defeat to the Nuggets, LeBron stated, “It’s too hard for me to answer that question right now.” “At some point in my more than 20-year career, I’ll probably take a step back and sort of rank the teams to see which were the toughest teams.” This crew is unquestionably well-prepared, well-equipped, and well-coached. They don’t possess any оffensive vulnerabilities. They have one of the best starting fives in the league the last few years with every player they put on the court, particularly in their starting lineup.
They have playmakers, shotmakers, me𝚗 who can rebound, guys who can assist, and other mature players. They always want to keep you at a distance, but overall, it’s one of the better teams I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing for. But it would be too difficult to rank it at this time. This is a tremendous team that I have played against, and I have played against a lot of excellent teams.
James is undoubtedly correct when he says that the Nuggets’ starting five is simply exceptional. With each member fulfilling their own function, they work well together, and Jokic’s brilliance brings out the best in each of his teammates.
The Lakers may very well find themselves at home at the hands of the Nuggets very soon as they have been unable to defeat this squad over the last few years. LeBron has only admiration for this club, which is a testament to their skillful construction.
LeBron James and the Lakers are in dаnger of losing to this Nuggets club for the second straight season. But as long as there are games left to play, LeBron will still have faith in the Lakers despite their 3-0 deficit.
LeBron stated, “At this point, it’s one game at a time.” “After you lose and head home, you think, Let’s get one, force a Game 5, and we’ll take it from there. Thus, you will always have believe as long as you are alive. You play till the wheels fall off, in my opinion. That’s my guiding philosophy at all times, and the man standing next to me shares my sentiments.
