Kai Havertz of Arsenal invited two hospice-aged children to the team’s victory over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal star Kai Havertz invites 2 children from a hospice to watch their team win 5-0
Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz posted a photo of himself and two kids he’d invited to the match versus Crystal Palace on his Instagram story over the weekend.
Havertz stated, “I met these two legends over Christmas at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. Today they went to their first Arsenal game!”
The Gunners won 5-0, so it was undoubtedly a fantastic game for the two to watch, and the club’s summer addition made a thoughtful invitation for the two kids to go. Even if he hasn’t always made his invitations public, Havertz has made such gestures considerably more frequently than this. Havertz has provided two tickets to a member of the local community for each and every Arsenal game this season, according to a December Evening Standard story.
For anyone who are curious about the handle in Havertz’s Instagram story at the top of this article, that is the Kai Havertz foundation’s account. “A modern, non-profit organization with the aim of helping people and animals,” is how they describe themselves.
Havertz states, “It’s important for me to give back early on and help make tomorrow better than today because I know that I live a privileged life.”
The flood tragedy that struck my hometown and the neighboring areas in 2021 has once again made me realize that I must take action. Not just in times of extreme need, but consistently and methodically.
“Through my charitable endeavors, I hope to alter my viewpoint and devote my time and energy to improving society instead of just playing football for 90 minutes on the weekend.
“In doing so, I believe it is especially important to strengthen community solidarity and to support vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.”
