“That’s a master. We’ve seen some great players, such as Gerrard, Lampard, Yaya Toure. But I think De Bruyne did unbelievable things. Not many people can pass the ball.” like him. I admire him every time I watch him play football.”

“As a young player, you need good role models. It’s great that Phil Foden gets to watch Kevin De Bruyne play every day. Just try to learn something from him. No doubt about it, Phil Foden is playing very well because he has learned great lessons from Kevin De Bruyne.”

De Bruyne’s opening goal for Man City was compared by fans to Robin van Persie’s lifetime goal for the Netherlands in the 2014 World Cup against Spain. From Kyle Walker’s pass, De Bruyne jumped up and headed the ball straight into the top corner of Jason Steele’s goal.
