The final sale price of the mansion was not disclosed, but it had been listed for $7.2 million a month before it was sold. When it was initially listed in August 2019, the basketball player Chris Paul had hoped for a higher return and asked for $8.3 million.
Paul had not owned the home for a long time before selling it. He purchased the property in 2018, although the price he paid is unknown. The mansion boasts five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms, with a total interior space of approximately 10,000 square feet. The contemporary design includes striking features like floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows that lend an industrial aesthetic and allow ample natural light. The house incorporates materials such as Texas limestone, oak beams from a 200-year-old farmstead, and clay roof tiles imported from France.
Designed by Lauren Rottet and built in 2013, the residence includes a double-sided marble fireplace connecting the living and dining rooms. The dining area offers a temperature-controlled wine cabinet with space for 750 bottles and a wet bar. The kitchen is luxuriously appointed with stainless steel countertops, Miele appliances, and a marble island. There is also a breakfast alcove connected to the kitchen, providing access to the outdoors.
