We’re going to have another Manchester City treble, right? Maybe “only” a double? It certainly feels that way as we approach the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Real Madrid. And unless you are a City fan, you probably don’t want that.

Over the weekend, City reclaimed first place in the Premier League, putting an end to speculation that they would be underdogs in the title chase this season.

City and its titles will eventually reach a saturation threshold. We might already be there. We may have grown tired of them and their never-ending trophy hunt. Actually, I believe we’re long passed that!
