Arsenal is making clones of a slew of first-team players, according to social media users, following their U-21 squad’s spectacular team goal against Stoke City.
The youth team drew 2-2 in their Premier League 2 fixture earlier this week, with promising prospects Amario Cozier-Duberry and Ethan Nwaneri scoring.
Their second goal, which earned them a point, was brilliantly executed, with the ball knocked from back to front before Nwaneri curled into the corner.
However, eagle-eyed Instagram fans have seen unsettling similarities between the motions of some young players and established senior superstars.
In a goal-scoring video, a player resembling Emile Smith Rowe passes to centre back Taylor Foran, who has been compared to Declan Rice by multiple reports.

He then blasted the ball wide to tricky winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, whose dexterity in possession and diminutive height have drawn comparisons to Bukayo Saka.
Cozier-Duberry moved the ball to his left foot and set up Nwaneri on the edge of the penalty box, with the No. 10 bending superbly past the goalkeeper.
Nwaneri, because to his position and finish, has been compared to Martin Odegaard.
Several people were taken aback by the similarities between the two sets of players.
‘Nah, the Rice and Saka movements were exactly the same,’ one account said.

Another wrote: ‘Bro, he’s moving exactly like Bukayo. It’s actually scary.’
A third posted: ‘Nah, that is 100 per cent a Saka clone.’
‘I thought that was Saka,’ said a fourth.
A fifth added: ‘I didn’t even notice it wasn’t the senior team.’
