Ayesha Curry, in an exclusive interview with E! News, discussed whether she would consider suggesting a vasectomy for her husband Stephen Curry after the birth of their fourth child. Ayesha expressed that she isn’t looking to expand their soon-to-be family of six any further.
During the Voices of Beauty Summit hosted by Landing International on March 28, Ayesha, who is currently pregnant with their fourth child, shared that having five kids would feel overwhelming. Coming from a household of five herself, she felt that someone always felt left out, and she believes that a family of four will be perfect.
However, Ayesha mentioned that she would advise Stephen to wait until he stops playing before considering the medical procedure. Playfully, she admitted not fully understanding the details of a vasectomy and jokingly suggested waiting until retirement to avoid any potential jinxing.
Ayesha, who also shares daughters Riley (11) and Ryan (8) and son Canon (5) with Stephen, revealed that this isn’t the first time she has expressed a desire to pause their family’s growth. In a March 1 essay for Sweet July Magazine, she mentioned that after their third child, they had decided they were done having kids. However, last year, they both felt the desire to expand their family further. Ayesha explained that she often felt like someone was missing and that completing their family was important to her.
Apart from growing their family, Ayesha has been busy with other ventures. She recently launched Sweet July Skin, a beauty line inspired by Caribbean superfoods, particularly those from Jamaica. Ayesha shared that the brand incorporates ingredients she heard about from her mother and grandmother while growing up, and it represents a journey she nurtured from seed to soil to flower.
