According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, if Manchester United continues to play as they did in Sunday’s 2-2 home draw with the Reds, they will lose to Arsenal in their Premier League matchup the following month.
After 23 minutes, Darwin Nunez’s assist allowed striker Luis Diaz to put Klopp’s team up at Old Trafford, giving the visitors the early lead. Five minutes into the second half, United captain Bruno Fernandes pulled his team even. But, 17 minutes later, a brilliant goal by Kobbie Mainoo put the Red Devils ahead.
Erik ten Hag’s team was not going to win, though, as Mohamed Salah scored the equalizer six minutes from the end. United lost for the third game in a row after blowing a lead in the final ten minutes.
Prior to the Red Devils’ league matchup at home against the Gunners on May 11, Klopp stated that if United plays like they did on Sunday, they will probably lose to the Gunners.

After 31 games and a draw, the Reds are now behind Premier League leaders Arsenal on goal differential, with 71 points apiece between them.
