Despite a great performance from Miles Bridges, who led the Hornets with 22 points, Charlotte fell short of winning consecutive games for the first time in more than a month. Davis Bertans provided a spark with 14 points in the first half, but was held scoreless after that. Brandon Miller, Grant Williams, and Nick Richards each scored 12 points for the Hornets.

Golden State dominated both ends of the court, shooting an astounding 53.9 percent from the field, with Curry leading the way with an efficient 9-for-18 performance, including four 3-point shots. Charlotte, on the other hand, struggled with their shooting, hitting only 40.5 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from beyond the arc.
