The sauce was released in honor of Saka’s achievements and popularity. Rice wasted no time and filmed Saka trying the sauce, asking him if it was good. Saka responded enthusiastically, describing it as unbelievable and mentioning that he had been cooking.

Described as a blend of sweetness, spiciness, and smokiness, the Peri Peri Saka sauce has received positive reviews. Saka, who is a regular at Nando’s, expressed his excitement about having his own sauce and shared that it was important to him that his family liked it too. Saka appears in a Nando’s advertisement as a chef creating the sauce and giving orders to the staff.

Rice and Saka are expected to play significant roles in England’s upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium as they prepare for Euro 2024.
