Bukayo Saka Collaborates with BigShoe to Fund 120 Life-Changing Operations for Nigerian Children

Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka has made a significant contribution to funding 120 life-changing operations for children in Nigeria. In collaboration with the youth charity BigShoe, the 21-year-old winger played a crucial role in facilitating medical procedures for children in Kano last month. These operations treated children suffering from conditions such as inguinal hernias or brain tumors in Nigeria.

Saka’s actions are a response to concerns about diseases like inguinal hernias or brain tumors affecting children in Nigeria. Speaking on the matter, Saka expressed his gratitude for being in a position where he can make a positive impact on children’s lives through these surgeries. He emphasized his connection to Nigeria and his desire to use his abilities to help children achieve their dreams.

The operations took place in mid-October and were successful, thanks to a team of five doctors who treated and cared for the children. Kano, Nigeria’s second-largest city, is significantly affected by these issues, impacting many children in the area.

Saka is not the only player to collaborate with BigShoe in recent months. Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger has also agreed to donate his World Cup earnings to children in Sierra Leone. Rudiger, who established The Antonio Rudiger Foundation for Sierra Leone in January, has been supporting medical procedures for underprivileged children in the country for a long time. With the World Cup approaching, Rudiger sees his contributions to BigShoe as a matter of honor and hopes to implement more projects in Sierra Leone.

Rudiger’s actions are in response to the issue of congenital clubfoot in the country, which affects many children throughout their lives. He expressed his concern about the circumstances in which Sierra Leonean children grow up and the impact of corrective surgery on their ability to walk and participate in social life.

Both Saka and Rudiger have teamed up with BigShoe to make a difference and provide support to children in Nigeria and Sierra Leone, respectively. Their efforts demonstrate their commitment to using their platform and resources to improve the lives of those in need.
