Two Manchester United players have stood out this season for making significant progress and demonstrating remarkable consistency.

Nothing can stop him now. Since then, he’s made 20 first-team appearances for Manchester United, scoring twice. And now he has been called up to the England squad.

He is a regular for his club and will be for his country; whether or not he makes the Euro 2024 squad, he is likely to play a significant part over the next decade and beyond.

It’s always unique when a player comes through Manchester United’s academy, but Mainoo appears to be an extremely rare talent. This week, renowned footballer Roy Keane stated that the adolescent is on par with Paul Scholes at this level of his career.
