Paul and James Harden formed the Houston Rockets after Paul’s championship runs with the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Hornets ended in disappointment. But even though the Rockets advanced to the Western Conference Finals two years in a row, Paul was unable to even guarantee himself a position in the NBA Finals, much less a championship.
In 2018, Paul and his spouse invested over $6.9 million to purchase a 10,000-square-foot villa while Paul was playing for the Rockets. But after the 2018–19 season, Paul was traded by the Rockets to the Oklahoma City Thunder, ending his time in Houston. Consequently, he put the same home up for sale with a $8.3 million starting asking price. In the end, the Paul family came to a $7.2 million sale agreement. This is fortunate because Paul was then traded to the Washington Wizards in June 2023 by the Phoenix Suns, who re-signed him for a season.

There are five bedrooms and nine baths in the old $7.2 million estate that is owned by CP3. The Rottet Studio designed the property, which has two luxurious walk-in closets, a large dining space, a swimming pool, and three climate-controlled carports.
CP3 had previously purchased some well-known properties. In 2012, he paid $8.5 million for the 12,000 square foot mansion owned by the celebrated singer Avril Lavigne. He subsequently made $8.7 million on the sale of the property. Paul also purchased a $9 million estate in Calabasas and a $6.36 million house in The Woodlands. These residences were later sold by him for $11.05 million and $5.85 million, respectively.
.. Recently, CP3 bought a brand-new mansion in Los Angeles’ Encino district for an incredible $11.1 million. On the other hand, it is yet unclear how Paul’s move to Washington will affect his wife Jada Crawley and their kids. That CP3, one of the best playmakers in NBA history, can afford to lead a lavish lifestyle is not unexpected. It is estimated that Avril is worth roughly $160 million. On the other hand, the following details are known about Chris Paul’s former $7.2 million Houston mansion.
