Anthony Davis’ parents had a lot to celebrate after the Lakers’ impressive victory on Sunday. Not only did their son deliver a historic performance, but it was also his 31st birthday. To mark the occasion, Anthony Sr. and Erainer surprised him with a grand birthday cake right in the locker room.

Playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves, with key players Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns absent, Davis dominated the game. He recorded an outstanding stat line of 27 points, 25 rebounds, seven steals, five assists, and three blocks.

Anthony Sr. and Erainer were in attendance to witness their son’s remarkable performance. As they entered the locker room with the birthday cake, the Lakers players, including LeBron James, erupted into a chorus of “Happy Birthday.”

AD couldn’t hide his delight, and rightfully so. His performance on Sunday marked a first in NBA history.

In post-game interviews, Davis emphasized the importance of the team’s collective effort and the significance of closing the gap in the standings. The Lakers currently hold the 9th seed in the Western Conference, trailing the Dallas Mavericks by just one game.
