The 19-year-old has continued to shine for the Portuguese team this season, having appeared 42 times across all competitions. The midfielder has been compared to former PSG orchestrator Marco Verratti due to his never-ending engine and keen eye for a pass in the middle of the pitch.

With Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro seemingly Erik ten Hag’s go-to partnership of late, worries linger about the futures of both Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay, especially considering INEOS’ upcoming investment, which is expected to result in a slew of incomings and outgoings late this year.According to The Mirror, Neves is expected to receive high-profile interest from some of Europe’s top clubs this summer, becoming the next in Benfica’s stellar production line of Portuguese talent in recent years.
