From Football Player to Music Project Manager and Jaylen Brown’s Manager

Jaylen Brown, the talented NBA player for the Boston Celtics, has a brother named Quenton Brown. Quenton, who was a former collegiate football player, currently works in the 7uice Foundation. While both brothers shared a love for sports, only Jaylen pursued it as a career. Quenton had a tryout with the Raiders but did not find success in the NFL.

Despite their different paths, there is no animosity between the two brothers. Jaylen, the older brother, takes great pride in seeing his younger brother succeed and become one of the best in his position.

Quenton Brown graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of North Texas in 2015. He initially attended the University of Central Florida before transferring. Standing at 6’4″, Quenton played as a tight end and was rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. Although he was part of the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad, he never made his NFL debut.

Jaylen Brown grew up in a single-parent household, raised by his mother Mechalle Brown in Marietta, Georgia. Mechalle, who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, emphasized the importance of education and academics to her sons. In 2019, when Jaylen signed a $115 million contract, one of his first purchases was a car for his mother.

Jaylen’s father, Marselles Brown, is a professional heavyweight boxer. While he was not present during Jaylen’s formative years, Marselles came out of retirement in 2016 at the age of 48 to inspire his sons. Marselles expressed pride in both of his sons, particularly highlighting Jaylen’s exceptional athleticism. He had his last figҺt in 2016, winning by knockout.
